Grew up in a rural, under-educated small town in SW Missouri--made the paper every week with softball, band awards, FFA, or academics. Moved to Columbia for college; entered the harsh yet delightful world of higher education. Fought back against preconceptions and social stigmas and earned my BS in Biochemistry in 4 short years. Now, it's on to Medical School. (Enter fabulous boyfriend who spoils me rotten and treats me like no one ever has before...) I'll be moving to St. Louis in June to attend the St. Louis University School of Medicine, as a member of the Class of 2011. After school, I pretty much want to deliver your babies, put you to sleep before surgery, or be the doctor whose sole responsibility is to make sure you're getting *better* while you're in the hospital. I'm a pretty rockin' chick, if I do say so myself. PS: I hate the fact that Vox alphabetizes my interests. I had them in perfect, prioritized order! (I have a touch of OCD)
